Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer represents the community. He/she is responsible for charting the overall direction of the community with supervision of the BoD. He/she is in charge of making overall executive decisions in the interest of the community.
Chief Operating Officer
The Chief Operating Officer oversees the administrative matters of the community. He/she is in charge of the proper care of data within the community. He/she also oversees compliance and talent acquisition across the community.
Chief Finance Officer
The Chief Finance Officer oversees the finances of the community. He/she is also responsible for procurement of resources/assets across the community. He/she is in charge of the active budget the community has to execute events. He/she oversees the Finance Department, consisting of the Finance Team and the Procurement Team.
Chief Communications Officer
The Chief Communications Officer is responsible for outreach of the community. He/she oversees all outward communication for the community. He/she is in charge of the website and social media platforms of the community. He/she oversees the Media & Communications Department, consisting of the Outreach Team, the Social Media Team and the Webmasters/Design Team.
Chief Technology Officer
The Chief Technology Officer is in charge of the community’s relationship with other interest groups and organisations within the cyber security community scene in Singapore. He/she is also responsible for the technical pace and capability of the community. He/she oversees the Infosec Development Department, consisting of the Infosec Relations Team and the Technical Research & Development Team.
Chief Corporate Officer
The Chief Corporate Officer oversees engagement among youths in the community. He/she ensures the logistics and flow during events. He/she also oversees the management of the fundamental communication medium of the community, a Discord server.
Managing Director, Secretariat
The Managing Director, Secretariat is responsible for managing the administrative matters of CYS MT. Meeting minutes are recorded by he/she. He/she is also in charge of compliance to standard operating procedures across the MT. He/she also oversees governance of assets belonging to the community. He/she oversees the Secretariat of CYS, consisting of the Management Support Team and the Governance and Compliance Team.
Managing Director, Human Resource
The Managing Director, Human Resource is in charge of maintaining and securing the data of all members of the community, including the MT. He/she is also responsible for on boarding all youths that have indicated their interest to join the community. He/she also oversees talent acquisition across the community, to source for youths to join the associate management team or understudy programme. He/she oversees the Human Resource Department, consisting of the General Administration Team and the Talent Management Team.
Managing Director, Community Engagement
The Managing Director, Community Engagement oversees the ideation of new avenues to interact and engage youths within the community. He/she is responsible for the youth engagement programme. He/she oversees the Community Engagement Department, consisting of the Strategic Planning & Project Development Team and the Youth Engagement Team.
Managing Director, Community Operations
The Managing Director, Community Operations is responsible for logistics management for the community. He/she also in charge of the management of the discord server. He/she oversees the Community Operations Department, consisting of the Logistics Team, and the Discord Management Team.
Management Support Team
Part of the Secretariat of CYS. Handles administration for the management team.
General Administration Team
Part of the Human Resource Department. Handles administration for the community.
Governance and Compliance Team
Part of the Secretariat of CYS. Handles and ensures compliance across the community. Governs resources and assets of the community.
Talent Management Team
Part of the Human Resource Department. Source for various talents among the youth in the community to join the management team. Manages the understudy programme.
Part of the Finance Department. Manages the budget and financial record of the community.
Part of the Finance Department. Handles procurement requests throughout the community. Ensures that resources acquired and procured is of reasonable value.
Social Media Team
Part of the Media & Communications Department. Manages all social media platforms of the community. Responsible for using said platforms to represent the happenings of the community.
Part of the Media & Communications Department. Responsible for the outreach effort of the community. Manages and plans for campaigns to further the outreach effort. Handles public queries of the community.
Infosec Relations Team
Part of the Infosec Development Department. Maintains and actively source for industry partners to support the community. Arranges the participation of these partners at CYS events.
Technical Research and Development Team
Part of the Infosec Development Department. Responsible for technical development of CYS. Members of this team actively maintain a repository for youths to be updated on the latest technical development in cyber security. Members of this team will actively work on new POCs that can be released as updates to the community.
Strategic Planning and Project Development Team
Part of the Community Engagement Department. Actively plans and proposes new activities that will be beneficial to the youths in CYS.
Youth Engagement Team
Part of the Community Engagement Department. Manages the Youth Engagement Programme. Maintains and sources for mentors to sustain the Youth Engagement Programme. Responsible for the execution of the Youth Engagement Programme.
Part of the Community Operations Department. Manages logistics for the community. Arranges for volunteers during CYS events.
